WHITE: 'I'M NOT LEAVING THE WHITE STRIPES'

JACK WHITE has reassured WHITE STRIPES fans he has no intention of leaving the rock duo for a full-time position in his side project THE RACONTEURS.

White is currently touring with The Raconteurs, who release their debut album BROKEN BOY SOLDIER in May (06), but plans to head into the studio with his White Stripes bandmate MEG WHITE soon.

He says, "I'm having a slight break from The White Stripes but not too much.

"I've already got a lot of songs for our next record, so when I find two minutes to record it I will."
