BEDINGFIELD WOWS MICROSOFT

British singer NATASHA BEDINGFIELD has been made the first ever "artist in residence" at Microsoft, after her songwriting captured the imagination of the computer giant's founder BILL GATES.

The UNWRITTEN star will produce music for Microsoft's Xbox 360 game, allowing her to reach out to a new audience.

Bedingfield, who is currently number one in America's Billboard Pop 100 chart, is not surprised her talents have been snapped up by the tycoon.

She says, "The doors are open because young Americans realise that we make a soulful kind of music."
