LA TOYA: 'NO MORE NEVERLAND FOR MICHAEL'

MICHAEL JACKSON's sister LA TOYA insists the apparent collapse of her brother's Neverland Ranch is all part of his plan to slowly close the theme park he once called home.

The California landmark hit the headlines earlier this month (MAR06) when Neverland workers demanded $306,000 (GBP180,000) from the absent pop superstar after complaining they hadn't received a pay packet since 19 December (05).

Jackson has since paid up and his publicist RAYMONE BAIN has confirmed the singer, who is currently living in Bahrain, plans to close up the estate and dismiss his staff.

His sister La Toya insists too much is being made of a longtime plan her superstar brother is finally putting into effect - after feeling his former sanctuary was invaded by investigators looking for clues in his 2005 child molestation case.

She says, "It's all part of the plan but you're just learning about it. When he left (for Bahrain) he said, 'It's finished. Never again.'

"His privacy, he felt, was invaded, so it's time to leave and that's what he did."
