BROLIN DIVES DEEP FOR TREASURE

BARBRA STREISAND's adventurer husband JAMES BROLIN has struck gold with a new deep sea treasure venture.

The silver-haired movie star has signed on as a shareholder and public face of state-of-the-art exploration and treasure recovery company Deep Blue Marine and he's now hooked on seeking galleons and gold buried off the eastern coastline of North America.

He says, "There are 20 galleons full of gold on the bottom of the coast from Florida up through the Carolinas."

And Brolin is now fronting a campaign to bring other high profile investors on board by appearing in a new ad shot on one of the firm's vessels.

Deep Blue Marine boss WILF BLUM says, "Treasures are out there. Investors need to learn about them from a reliable source. James Brolin has the right mix of authority and the romanticism associated with treasure hunting. We're proud to have him on board."
