DJ SWING DIES AFTER BONE MARROW CANCER BATTLE
British hip-hop icon DJ SWING died on Wednesday night (23MAR06) after a long battle against bone marrow cancer.
DJ Swing - real name BRIAN DALEY - was a prominent member of London DJ crew the BOOGIE BUNCH, and was featured in a Channel 4 programme documenting his hunt for a suitable bone marrow donor.
On 10 November (05), Daley underwent a bone marrow transplant with a 90 per cent matching donor, according to AllHipHop.com, and it was thought to be a success. But his condition began deteriorating recently.
