WILLIAMS JR ACCUSED OF ASSAULT
Country superstar HANK WILLIAMS JR has been accused of harassing a 19-year-old waitress in a hotel bar.
Police papers reveal HOLLY HORNBEAK alleges the singer cursed her, tried to kiss her and lifted her in a chokehold.
Williams Jr checked into the Peabody Hotel in order to be close to his daughter HILARY, who is fighting for her life in a Memphis, Tennessee, hospital after being involved in a car crash on 15 March (06). The star has released a statement denying the claims, and insists he has not been sought by the police. It reads, "I am shocked at such allegations. "Hank and family is still staying at the hotel, if any issues were problematic one would think that the hotel would ask him to check out or leave the premises. Neither has happened."
