SHARON STONE: I WANTED THE SEX SCENES TO BE DISTURBING

Sharon Stone wanted the sex scenes in 'Basic Instinct 2' to be "disturbing". The sexy star was determined the erotic thriller should shock its audience and told the director not to waste her full-frontal nude shots.

"I felt we should hold off on the full nudity for a while in the movie and then I thought that when I ultimately did do the nude scene it should be done in a startling way that would be disturbing and threatening."

Sharon recently admitted she wanted to make the most of the sex scenes in the movie because it could be the last time she strips off in front of the camera.

She's quoted by Britain's Evening Standard newspaper, "I wanted to do the nudity in a way that's quite brazen. I wanted her to be very masculine, like a man in a steam room. "I wanted the audience to have a moment where they realize she's naked and then realize she's a forty-something woman and naked."
