SIR SEAN CONNERY is suing a Sherman Oaks, California golf club for refusing to reimburse him after he terminated his membership.
The former JAMES BOND star claims he was entitled to 80 per cent of his Sherwood Country Club dues - amounting to over $500,000 (GBP294,100) - when he cancelled his membership in 2004.
But he claims club officials are refusing to hand over the cash.
In a suit filed yesterday (13MAR06), the Scottish star claims board members of his former club used his "world-wide celebrity to enhance the club's reputation," but are now refusing to pay him what is rightfully his.
Connery is calling for $500,000 (GBP294,100) for breach of contract and more than $500,000 (GBP294,100) for unjust enrichment.
