ALARM ROCKER FIGHTS CANCER ON THE ROAD
Welsh rocker MIKE PETERS is set to stun fans at the South By Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas this weekend (17-19MAR06) by leaving his sickbed to perform live.
THE ALARM founder, who is fighting cancer, will promote his new album UNDER ATTACK at the festival.
In a posting on his website, he tells fans he has been responding well to chemotherapy treatment.
He explains, "I have been feeling stronger every day. I have been singing at every opportunity to strengthen my voice and build my fitness up and today I feel absolutely great."
