STONE'S DATE AT THE WAILING WALL

SHARON STONE celebrated her 48th birthday in Israel at the weekend (10-12MAR06) and finished her trip to the Holy Land with a visit to the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem (13MAR06).

The respectful actress bowed her head in silent prayer at the Jewish landmark and followed a long-held tradition to write another prayer and 'post' it into a crack in the wall.

The BASIC INSTINCT star was a guest of the Perez Center For Peace during her trip.
