NUGENT BLASTS GREEN DAY
Rocker TED NUGENT has blasted punk trio GREEN DAY after they turned down an offer to work with the CAT SCRATCH FEVER star.
Nugent reveals he approached Green Day frontman BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG with a view to working with the AMERICAN IDIOT singer but he simply "laughed" at the idea.
Now angry Nugent, a fervent Republican, rants, "Their social ignorance, their historical vacuity and their knee-jerk condemnation of American things and the BUSH administration is nothing short of embarrassing."
But Nugent isn't giving up on the trio: "I bought all their CDs... I would be more than happy to talk to them."
