PETA BOSSES URGE JACKSON TO RELOCATE HIS ANIMALS

People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) activists are begging MICHAEL JACKSON to relocate the exotic animals he keeps at his Neverland home after learning the California ranch has been closed down.

The pop superstar was ordered to shut down his famous Santa Ynez Valley estate earlier this week (ends10MAR06) after failing to pay his employees or renew their insurance policies.

And PETA officials want Jackson to consider what's best for the exotic pets that make up the Neverland zoo.

In a letter to Jackson's representative RAYMONE BAIN in Washington DC, PETA's Captive Exotic Animal Specialist LISA WATHNE states, "We are writing regarding the closure of Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch and to plead with Mr Jackson to accept PETA's help in transferring all animals at Neverland to legitimate sanctuaries.

"Legitimate sanctuaries adhere to specialized standards for animal care, animal safety, and public safety and will provide Mr Jackson's animals with exemplary lifetime care.

"Mr Jackson is universally known for his love of animals. We hope that he will accept PETA's offer to help ensure that none of the animals at Neverland end up at shabby roadside zoos or exotic-animal auctions or in the hands of exotic animal brokers, breeders, or dealers."
