HATCHER CAN'T BELIEVE SEX ABUSER IS BEHIND BARS

TERI HATCHER still struggles to come to terms with the fact her childhood sexual abuser is behind bars after she helped put him there in 2002.

Her former uncle, RICHARD HAYES STONE, was incarcerated for 14 years thanks to Hatcher's brave testimony.

The DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star buried her shocking secret for over 30 years but felt compelled to come forward and help prosecutors jail Stone after hearing how a teenage girl had shot herself after enduring four years of abuse at the hands of the sex predator.

Hatcher says, "I still have trouble embracing that he really is in jail, and staying there.

"(It's) like the acting-fraud police are going to come (and) take away my SAG (Screen Actors Guild) award and Golden Globe, and the real police are going to come (and) tell me I made it all up."
