MANDELA URGES MOSS TO BEAT DRUGS
LATEST: Revelations KATE MOSS snorted cocaine at NELSON MANDELA's home have appalled the former South African leader, and he has urged the model to stay off drugs - permanently.
Earlier this week (begs06MAR06) model booking agent GAVIN MASELLE told British newspaper The Sun that the catwalk queen used the drug minutes before meeting Mandela on a charity visit to Cape Town in 1998.
And now the celebrated politician is keen to distance himself from the scandal.
A spokesman for Mandela says, "He didn't realise Kate was drugged up.
"We hope with the help of family and friends, she'll be able to get rid of this deadly habit."
