'Home Alone' star Macaulay Culkin admits his career is over.

The actor - who was the hottest star in Hollywood a decade ago - says no-one wants to give him a job.

The 25-year-old revealed to America's Time magazine: "I'm the most out-of-work actor I know.

"I don't know what people want from me. In the last two years I've basically taken meetings for a living.

"I've just led an isolated existence since I was six-years-old."

He added: "It's kind of been me and my mind.

"I hope people don't think I'm crazy, because I'm not."

Culkin also said he considered quitting acting to pursue a career in sports management, but decided to stick with his thespian roots.

He admitted: "Acting found me. I thought maybe I should try to find it again. We'll see."

The former child star also revealed that he's spoken to friend Michael Jackson since the singer fled the US in the wake of his child sex trial.

He said: "He's a friend, but the kind of friend you talk to twice a year".

Culkin revealed Jackson - who was found not guilty of molesting children last year -is "doing OK".
