SHAKIRA: I'M A 'MAN'

Shakira lives like a man.

The pop babe says although she considers herself very feminine she handles her career and personal life like a man would.

She told Britain's Heat magazine "I feel very much in touch with the woman in me, but I think I have taken a more masculine approach to life."

Meanwhile, the Colombian singer recently confessed she doesn't understand her sex symbol status.

The 28-year-old insisted she is shy and quiet in real life, and is quite unlike her sultry persona.

She revealed: "My videos represent the artist in me very well, not the woman I am.

"When they watch my videos, people think I'm a very sexually aggressive person, but I am completely the opposite. I'm not as self-confident as it seems when I'm on the stage. I have lots of insecurities; I am actually very shy."
