NO LAUNCH FOR STAR TREK 11

Plans for an 11th STAR TREK film have fallen flat with creators of the sci-fi series and films keen to take a long break from the project.

Despite plans to develop a new Star Trek movie, featuring the stars of all the TV show spin-offs, there is no new film in the works, according to website TrekWeb.com.

A source close to Star Trek creator RICK BERMAN tells internet site Moviehole.net, "The best way to achieve this is to take it away for a few years and then bring it back and do it right.

"The franchise needs a totally new creative team, some time off, and a cool new approach."
