Lloyd is predicted to be out of action for "six to eight weeks" after injuring the limb at a hotel party following the London awards ceremony.
The rock outfit have already pulled out of the Teenage Cancer Trust Show at the British capital's Royal Albert Hall next month (MAR06), where they were due to support RAZORLIGHT.
Writing on the band's website, frontman PAUL SMITH confirms: "After the NME Awards show, Dunc broke his right arm.
"We hope he gets better soon, obviously, but it looks like we won't be playing the Albert Hall, since he is the guitar player.
"At least we don't have to cancel an entire tour. Small mercies."
The injury is the second connected to this year's NME Awards, following an incident in which THE CRIBS' RYAN JARMAN was injured after jumping onto a table in excitement.
