Rock heavyweights GUNS N' ROSES are heading to Europe in June (06) - they will headline England's Download Festival and put on a stadium show in Ireland.
The PARADISE CITY hitmakers will take to the stage at Dublin's RDS Arena on 9 June (06) - with MOTLEY CRUE supporting - before heading to Donington Park on 11 June, where METALLICA will headline the previous day (10JUN06).
Frontman AXL ROSE - who is the only remaining member of the original line-up - has promised the band's decade-in-the-making album CHINESE DEMOCRACY will be released later this year.
He says, "Donington has always meant a lot to me personally, way before I ever played there."
Guns N' Roses last appeared in the UK in 2002, their only performance there since 1993.
