BROOKS AND YEARWOOD'S WEDDING WAS A TRUE FAMILY AFFAIR

Country couple GARTH BROOKS and TRISHA YEARWOOD made sure their wedding ceremony was extra special for his three daughters - by insisting they got married too.

Brooks brought his girls, aged 13, 11 and nine, wedding gowns and asked them to write their own vows, while Yearwood exchanged rings with them when she became their stepmother last year (05).

Brooks came up with the idea for the joint nuptials, explaining, "You've gotta remember these children didn't ask to be celebrities... they also didn't ask for their parents to get divorced and they sure didn't ask to marry this woman (Yearwood).

"So these are things that you ask of them, as children, to go through.

"They wrote their own vows - what they promised her (Yearwood) that they would do. They exchanged rings."
