SUPERMODELS SUIT-UP FOR SPORTS ILLUSTRATED

LATEST: The annual Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue hit newsstands in America on Tuesday (14FEB06) featuring not one, but eight supermodels, all of them veteran cover girls for the magazine.

Among those suiting-up for the 42nd issue of the magazine were ELLE MACPHERSON, REBECCA ROMIJN and RACHEL HUNTER.

The cover was shot last summer (05) in the Bahamas by fashion photographer RAPHAEL MAZZUCCO.

Macpherson holds the record for the most Sports Illustrated covers with five, and says, "It was great to see Rebecca (Romijn) and Rachel (Hunter).

"It (the shoot) was like a big family, since so many of us brought our kids.

"We all went surfing. It was so relaxed and easy."
