The HARD TO BEAT foursome are up for two Brit Awards on Wednesday (15FEB06), while Madonna is named in three categories.

Hard-fi frontman RICHARD ARCHER can't wait to meet the MATERIAL GIRL backstage and discuss his proposal.

Archer says, "(She can't cover LIVING FOR THE WEEKEND) though. Maybe when she slummed it on the streets of New York, but she's living it up at the polo ground now."
