Actress JANET JONES has been indicted for placing bets with a sports gambling ring.
The A CHORUS LINE star, who is married to hockey great WAYNE GRETZKY, was implicated in the illegal New Jersey gambling venture, which has allegedly been financed by RICK TOCCHET - her husband's fellow coach at the Phoenix Coyotes hockey team in Arizona.
The bets were not placed on sports involving hockey teams, but primarily on football and basketball games.
The actress' career was just taking off again after landing a part opposite JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE in new movie ALPHA DOG.
Jones has been married to Gretzky, a former owner of the Phoenix Coyotes, for almost 18 years.
