Former SOFT CELL star MARC ALMOND will stage an emotional comeback at the Brit Awards next week (15FEB06) when the motorbike smash victim presents an award.
The TAINTED LOVE singer suffered massive head injuries in the crash in October 2004, which left him unable to walk, talk and sing.
But the courageous 49-year-old has vowed to be present at the glitzy music industry ceremony in London, where he is expected to receive a standing ovation in honour of his battle to recover.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "The Brits committee was thrilled when Marc agreed to come to the awards.
"He will get a fantastic reaction from the audience."
