JAMES BOND's first gadget-packed Aston Martin has sold for more than $2.14 million (GBP1.19 million) at an auction in Phoenix, Arizona.

The legendary 1965 silver DB5 was driven by Hollywood star SIR SEAN CONNERY in 007 classics GOLDFINGER and THUNDERBALL.
Superspy features include machine guns, tyre slashers, a retractable rear bullet-proof screen and three revolving number plates.
The vehicle, sold by a Tennessee museum owner, is one of four cars originally constructed for the 1964 and 1965 Bond films and was bought by a European collector.
