FATBOY THANKS MCCARTNEY FOR COUNSELLING

FATBOY SLIM has hailed SIR PAUL McCARTNEY's counselling skills after the former BEATLE supported him during his marriage troubles.

The RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW hitmaker temporarily split with his radio presenter wife ZOE BALL in 2003 after she had a fling with DJ DAN PEPPE, but they managed to reconcile a few months later.

And Fatboy, real name is NORMAN COOK, credits McCartney's listening skills with getting him through his torment.

He says, "Paul gave me a shoulder to cry on. He told me to get out of the UK until the heat died down.

"That was a bad time as we messed up in public. But it turned out to be a two-month blip in a six-year marriage.

"Zoe and I have worked out how to keep ourselves to ourselves and get on with enjoying life."
