WORDS FROM AN ALMOST MARRIED MAN

ELTON JOHN is activist towards everyone who is gay.

Elton John is spending his last few nights of being a bachelor. Elton’s speaking out about how fortunate he’s to have choice of same-sex marriage. England will pass the law officially December 21, 2005 that allows the same sex to join in wedlock. Elton will marry his long-time lover in a few days in a small, private ceremony. Elton announces that there are still many countries that don’t allow homosexuals to get married. He feels very fortunate. In Jamaica the people are less fortunate. The Jamaican people are even punished if they are found of being homosexuals and put in jail or they get tortured. Elton is an activist of Amnesty International. Amnesty International is an organization that helps free people from hardships and torture in their countries. There is much needed focus in Jamaica. Elton will continue to strive forth and free those who love too freely in broken countries.
