Mary-Kate has recently left her life in New York City. She left school, her twin Ashley and the boy she loves Stavros Niarchos, Greek shipping heir. Actually leaving New York was because she needed to get away from the girl (Paris Hilton) who stole Stravros away from her. Mary-Kate feels like she lost her best friend. Stravros and she don’t talk anymore. Her heart aches for him. She’s trying to put it all behind her now and concentrate on her new life in LA. She plans to get healthy, learn to put herself first and find work as "just an actress" for a change, according to Style. She has gone through a lot for past year. Between losing her boyfriend to Paris Hilton, she was dealing with her eating disorder. Mary-Kate went in a treatment program to remedy her disorder. Now that is she away from al the chaos of NYC and her old life she is felling more alive again. It has been a long time. Now that she's on her own has done some good after all.
