SOUTH PARK CARTOON FALSE STATEMENTS ABOUT CRUISE

South Park portrayed that Tom Cruise won't come out of the closet.

South Park is a famous adult cartoon. Just recently the cartoon did a spoof on Tom being gay. They had an animated Tom Cruise that was hiding in the closet and would not come out. There was also animated Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes trying beckoning him out of the closet. The take on the show was that Tom Cruise won’t come out of the closet and admit he’s homosexual. South Park is just fictional fun. However, Cruise is disgusted with the cartoon and wants to sue. Cruise claims he is saving face and protecting his family from such rubbish. South Park only weapon against a lawsuit is Freedom of Speech, the first amendment of the constitution. Justice Souter quoted then-U.S. District Judge Pierre Leval as follows: "First Amendment protections do not apply only to those who speak clearly, whose jokes are funny, and whose parodies succeed." According to Writ News. With this creative shows are allowed to joke and make the viewers laugh about untrue things.
