NEW ROLE FOR ROSARIO

Rent the Broadway musical hit is turning into film. Rosario is taking over the role of Mimi is a stripper/druggy with AIDS and plays to blow people away with her performance. Rosario use to dream about being on stage dancing and singing when she was growing up. Rosario was perfect for the role because she unfortunately knows what life is like being poor and thinking your life won’t amount to anything. While she was a child, her family and Rosario were squatters. (A squatter means to plant oneself on land or in a building without actually owning or renting it.) Her mother set up house in an abandon building and they lived there until the building was torn down. The situation was far from ideal but it could have been much worse like living in a neighborhood full of drugs, thugs and more. Nothing like rags to riches life story Rosario has come from. Now she has the leading role in Broadway’s most beloved musicals in the film version.
