TURNER IS TIRED OF AMERICA

Kathleen has been struggling and no longer lying about her illness.

Kathleen Tuner is tired of the pressure in the United States. Hollywood focuses on pretty faces and young, skinny bodies. Turner has neither going for her anymore. She thinks she will have more luck in Italy for her professional life. In Europe they concentrate more on the person’s acting ability, creativity and grace instead of how they look. Kathleen has a disease that is debilitating to her body its called rheumatoid arthritis. It’s been bad for years and the only way she got roles was to lie about it. She lied that she was an alcoholic. Hollywood will hire a drunk over an actor with an unknown disease. Her sickness has crippled her hands to a point where she has a hard time holding a glass. So, whenever she broke a glass, people just thought she was drunk again. Kathleen has tried to fix her problem with many operations, which have helped a little. She plans to move to Italy early next year. She still receives roles on Broadway in New York so she will travel back and forth.
