MARIAH BROUGHT HOME 4 AWARDS

Mariah won over four awards from the Vibe Awards ceremony.

The Vibe Awards honored Mariah Carey with four music awards. The whole ceremony went great unlike last years event ended in violence, according to BBC News. Mariah was overwhelmed with gratitude to her fans. She took home “Artist of the Year”, “R&B song”, R&B Voice of the Year” and “R&B Album of the Year”. In her speech thanking her family, friends, workmates and fans; she said “never give up on your dreams”. Mariah has not always been successful. She was dropped from EMI recording studio after her flop movie “Glitter” and album in 2001. She has never been a quitter either she just got back on her horse and is now more than ever. Both songs, “We Belong Together” and “Shake it off” were on the top five charts for several weeks around the world.
