VALET IS SUING OMAR SHARIF

Parking attendant in LA suing Omar Sharif for assulting him.

One summer night Omar Sharif stepped out of a LA restaurant in and was expecting his car to be ready but the parking valet did not have it. Omar was a little tipsy and demanded to the valet where was his car. The parking attendant apologised that he did not have it ready and Omar became obnoxious with Jaun Anderson (the valet). Omar called him stupid and degraded him. Anderson also said Omar hit him because he refused the tip Omar was handing him. Sharif handed him Euro currency. Anderson press charges against Omar Sharif for treating him badly and assulting him. The lawsuit will cost Omar about $50,000 fine. Even though the spanish valet did not have any real evidence of being hit, he swears by his word. Omar's attorney has made several statements that Sharif never hit the parking attendant, that the only reason Anderson was pressing charges was because Sharif's a star. Unforunately for Omar this is not his first assult to someone serving him. He just does not like when the service doesn't obey his orders. He assulted an policeman in Paris in 2003.
