CELEBRITY AUCTION

Auctioned some of John Lennon's clothing.

John Lennon white suit that he wore for The Beatles "Abbey Road" album. His white suit was donated to be auction off at the Las Vegas celebrity auction. Lennon was photo in the suit on the cover of the album in 69'. The final bid was $118,000 dollars. There was nothing extraordinary about the suit; Lennon was just wearing that day. Another item a jacket of Lennon is that he wore in his documentary "Imagine" sold for $32,000 dollars, according to CBC Arts. Part of the proceeds from the Lennon items will go towards Amnesty International, an organization that helps with human rights in the world.
