ELTON JOHN: PRODUCING A SITCOM

Elton is trying television.

Elton is doing television. His new sitcom will tell a tale about an ageing rock star, his manager, and the assorted hangers-on in his entourage, according to Independent News. Elton is trying his hand in producing a drama on TV. He has even thought of a creative name for the show "Him and Us". It is kind of a take off Elton's life but a few other creative antidotes. Elton has had some first pointers of how to produce from his live-in partner film producer David Furnish. The show was inspired by Elton's new release song. ABC network has okayed the pilot but still not sure of the sitcom. Elton's developing team is excited plus "Sex and the City" writer Cindy Chupack and Michael Edelstein (director from "Desperate Housewives") are part of the team, according to Independent News. Elton is thinking about other networks that can show a little enthusiasm unlike ABC. He and many other people have faith that the show will be a hit.
