JK Rowling missed the first screening because her husband was ill.
This does not usually happen but Rowling unfortunately had to miss the first screening of her next film "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" because her husband just had surgery. Her husband Dr. Neil Murray just got his appendix taken out; he is now home but still recovering. J.K. Rowling met the doctor about five years ago and married him in 2001. They already have two children, two year old and a nine-month year old. This will be the fourth movie to the series. Rowlings has sold around 250 million copies worldwide and translated into more than 55 languages, according to Scotsman News.
