ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVIST: CAROLE KING

Carole King singer is also a very active in saving Idaho land.

King is testifying against Idaho bill. King has good ties with Congress. It is good to have connections. She will be arriving in Washington to fight against this environmental bill set in Idaho. Mike Simpson bill is larded with provisions that threaten protection of the recreation area (a rugged 756,000-acre section of peaks set aside for preservation by Congress in the 1970's), according to MSN News. Simpson has more people opposing the bill then for it. Simpson wants a fair debate but his odds are not good. King moved out to the Idaho area nearly twenty-eight years ago. She has been standing behind the environment causes of Idaho for as long as she has lived there. Many say this is a wilderness bill but that is like saying hills are mountains. By standing behind her ideals she hopes the bill is thrown out because there is so much more land in Idaho to preserve. But Simpson keeps striding forward to make his bill happen. If this bill goes through says King then we are on our way to a new era of public land giveaways and that is just not right, according to MSN News.
