Clint created two new movies that are part of our history.
Clint has created two new movies about United States Marines battling Iwo Jima. Eastwood started the first movie and realized that it needed a second part to complete it. The films will be called "Flags". The films are about six men who raised an American flag on Mount Suribachi, and the tentatively named "Lambs Before the Wind" on the Japanese side of the battle, according Mercury News. These two movies have been a real eye-opener for Eastwood; he still is amazed he took on such arduous projects. Thousands of American and Japanese died from the outcome of this battle in 1945. It was an historical moment that should be told.
