Geena Davis has a new series, starting tonight on ABC.
Geena is premiering in “Commander in Chief”, a new series starting tonight as the first woman to step into the White House as the President of the United States of America. Story begins that the elected president dies and Geena is Vice President. Everyone at the oval office is trying to persuade her to resign and let a man take the place of presidency but at the end refuses and takes her post. Supposedly the show starts off a little dry but Geena gives it flavor. She is the substance to the whole show, not that she is the main character but she is a powerful actress. As soon as she takes over her duties of presidency she is of course swamped with problems that a man usually takes on. Genna takes the reins and gives a good show. She is very believable. Davis was excited about this role because she has extensive knowledge on what is happening in the Middle East but she has not been able brag how much yet, if she ever will. Also, what might bring a smile to your face, there is no First Lady instead a First Man? Kyle Secor plays the role of Geena’s husband and he does it with integrity. They are raising two children, the boy is the high-school track star and the daughter is the trouble –maker. There are a lot of shows on fake presidents running America in their own particular way. But with Geena Davis in the White House it has a whole new twist of how a president can run things. The premier show starts tonight a 9 p.m. (EST) on ABC.
