Actor Don Adams died on Sunday of an lung infection.
The film “Get Smart” was a series on television during the 60’s. It was a silly version of the James Bond movies. Adams played the goofy and clumsy private detective, Maxell Smart. The character was always running into desks, knocking over chairs but most famous for transporting his phone in his shoe. The show was popular because he was always losing the bad guys. His famous excuse would start like, “Would you believe…?”. Adams died of an infection in his lung he was 82 years old. He had a fulfilled life playing the goofy detective and won two Emmys for the best comedy series, according to Houston Chronicle.
