LIVE-IN REHAB FOR LOVE

Love was sentenced for 180 days to stay in a rehab center to get sober.

Courtney Love has had one month of live-in rehab under her wing. She has made great progress in sobering up. Judge Rand Rubin has come to the decision that she will continue her situation at the live-in rehab and not go to jail. Love will stay at the rehab center for 180 days, that is her sentence for taking drugs while on probation and assaulting a woman using a whisky bottle as a weapon. The judge in this case has been very pleased with Love’s recovery so far and hopes that she can continue progressing. The only time Love will be allowed to leave the rehab center is for emergencies; the center will give her drug tests frequently. Also, Judge Rubin prolonged her probation until 2007. Courtney is very happy with her final sentence, she is thankful she does not have to go to jail. Love’s lawyer has commented that she has promised to stay clean and sober. Love’s lawyer, family and friends are all hoping that she will keep her promise. Love’s bad luck is not quite over; the assaulted woman is suing her. The assaulted woman was also sleeping with Love’s boyfriend, so the woman should understand why Love was angry.
