HURRICANE KATRINA FASHION SHOW

Kenneth Cole dedicated his fashion show to hurricane Katrina's victim's.

Kenneth Cole is pushing his viewers to donate to Katrina victims. He is also dedicating his show to the New Orleans victims. His fashion show is the Olympus Fashion Week Spring & Summer of 2006, according Miami Herald. After his show Kenneth Cole came out onto the runway in white pants and T-shirt baring on it ‘1 800 Help Now’. All the people involved in his show donated something and then the Kenneth Cole with match the donations. This if the first time designer Cole has contributed to a fund or charity. He always uses his fashion to make a political statement. Because of his efforts, Cole has received many humanitarian awards. The video of the fashion show was filmed a week earlier before the hurricane, so they re-edited the show to have it concentrate on the natural disaster, according to the Miami Herald.
