About the legendary actress and her new documentary.

The beautiful Greta Garbo died a mysterious death in 1990. Garbo was a very private-- she was an enigma. She never wanted to be recognized in person but just in the film industry. It was a rare occasion that the press ever got a glimpse of her walking or sitting at a café. According to Nine MSN, Greta Garbo was born as Greta Gustafsson to a working-class family in Stockholm a century ago she was discovered by a film crew just passing by. Many wanted to film Garbo because she was intensely beautiful but she was very selected in her roles. Finally Kevin Brownlow has created an eighty-seven minute documentary of Greta Garbo’s extraordinary life. The footage has parts of screen tests that she did but mostly showing her personality that all experienced through her films. The documentary will also portray a side of her that no one saw very much because she was so reclusive. The producers of this wonderful documentary of Garbo hope that people see how wonderful she was as a person and actress.
