HOLLABACK GIRL IS NOT ATTENDING AWARDS CEREMONY

Gwen Stefani is not attending MTV Music Award ceremony.

Even though Gwen Stefani has been nominated for six awards, she will not be attending the MTV Music Awards. According to Entertainment Online, Stefani is too upset about not being asked to perform for the Awards. Hubby Gavin Rossdale & Stefani will be celebrating with the rest of the nominees or fans. Stefani’s 6 nominations: Best Female Video, Best Pop Video, Video of the Year, Best Choreography, Best Art Direction & Best Editing. (Source: E!Online) Miss Elliot and Gwen Stefani had a tie with the same number of nominations. Miss Elliot was also not offered a time-slot to perform for the awards. MTV is disappointed with Gwen’s decision not to attend. They hope she will change her mind as well as her fans. Stefani performed for the Teen Choice Award ceremony a few months back and that is why MTV decided not to ask her to perform. There has been a little rivalry between Teen Choice Awards and MTV Awards.
